Some of my current hobbies, interests and accomplishments. This is new and incomplete, so the links are not "live" yet. I actually do make changes to the lightshed site, but in fits and spurts - kind of like my life and work schedule...

Hobbies

- Quantum and dimensional physics.

- Radio controlled aircraft.

- Riding my motorcycle.

Current Projects

- Science fiction novel.

- Mathematical proofs for a new dimensional model (expect some extensive web pages on this soon).

- Rebuilding our house from the tornado. I never really wanted to be a construction contractor.

Interests

- Guitar. I study classical guitar, but also have a nice Strat for those raw days. As for skill, some days I am not bad at all. Others, I barely make it out of the "good after 4 beers" category.

- Pilot license with instrument and multi-engine ratings

- Electronic designs in use in over 40 countries. Everything from environmental sensing systems to power plant control systems.

- An installed base of over 6,000 custom software systems for process control. The systems are a mix of assembly (for multiple platforms) and higher level languages.

- National art awards

- A 21 year old daughter.

About me

I am a 45 year old male. I have been married 24 years. I have been many places and done many things for my age. While that might seem exciting to some, it probably means I will die younger than most. The old "candle that burns twice as bright, burns half as long" adage probably includes me.
